Gent is Breugelian City hosting each year the famous Genshe Fieste (one week city feast in July), known for its cultural events and its drinking festivities.
The conference will honor this tradition by offering a city walk highlighting the historical pearls and landmarks, combined with a visit to a cosy drinking gallery in the medieval part of the city (Graslei). There, the delegates will have the opportunity to taste and savour the wealth of refined Belgian beers.
On Thursday, the conference dinner will take place in an old Dominican monatery 'Het Pand', situated near the Leie river.
