CONTRIBUTIONS
Extended abstracts of papers and posters are solicited. Abstracts should be
ca. 1000 words and include the most important references. The relevance and
originality of the contribution must be stated. Please indicate:

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS/POSTERS
Papers and/or posters should be submitted to the conference office before the
respective closing dates.
DEADLINES
Papers (abstracts only): Closing date 31 January 1997 (electronic submission: 15 February 1997)
Posters: Closing date 30 June 1997
Full Papers/Posters (for reviewers): Closing date 29 August 1997
POSTERS
A list of already accepted posters is included in this preliminary program.
Contributions for the poster session can be submitted until 30 June 1997. Authors
are invited to send extended abstracts of not more than 1000 words and at most 5
keywords to the Conference Office. Authors will be notified of acceptance of
their posters as soon as possible, but not later than 31 July 1997.
ACCEPTANCE
Authors of papers will be notified of acceptance by 15 April 1997.
Authors of posters will be informed as soon as possible, but not later than 31 July 1997.
EXHIBITION AND INDUSTRIAL SESSION
Several companies will participate in an industrial session which will form part
of the scientific programme. There will also be an exhibition of new products by
vendors.
PROCEEDINGS
The proceedings of the conference will be published after the conference in the
series Advances in Parallel Computing by North-Holland, Amsterdam. All
contributions will be refereed. Acceptance of a paper/poster for presentation at
the conference does not automatically imply acceptance for publication in the
proceedings. Papers/posters can only be considered for inclusion in the
proceedings if the paper/poster is presented by at least one of the authors, who
has also registered as a delegate.
In addition to the proceedings a selection of the best papers presented at the conference will be published as a Special Issue of Parallel Computing Journal.
